Police Training on Standards of Human Rights & Investigation Skills

A training was organized to enhance the competencies of police officials as they could perform their roles and responsibilities effectively towards women and child protection for police officials who were performing duties at Human Rights Cells in their respective districts.

Training sessions addressed the human rights and child rights standards as well as provided guidance in dealing with children come in conflict with the law and handling the cases of Violence against women. It was a serious attempt to address an increasing challenge for practitioners.

The training was aimed at improving the professional skills of police officials regarding working effectively with the community which ultimately results in improving the quality of effective relief.
